As of today we have completely revamped our coupon capability.
Previously you could only set percentage discounts, and they only worked if Stripe was your payment provider. Our new coupon capabilities allow you to do the following:
1. You can set an expiration date.
2. You can set a maximum # of uses.
3. You can monitor how many times a coupon has been used.
4. You can set both percentage and fixed price discounts.
5. They work with both Stripe and Braintree payment gateways.
The user interface for entering coupons at checkout is a bit different as well. Previously the purchaser did not see the effect of the coupon until they go their receipt. Now the coupon is applied and the user is brought back to the payment page with the new price reflected prior to completing their purchase.
